Victoria's Ambulance Service introduced the Mercedes 312 Sprinter
into service in 2000 as a potential replacement for the
GMC Seirra that was no longer available
in the Australian Market

Below are some photos of Victoria's Mercedes 312 Sprinter vehicles.

The original Mercedes 312 Sprinter Ambulance was introduced as a trial vehicle into Victorian Ambulance  Service in 2000.  It's less than adequate power caused a significant dislike for the vehicle.

RAV introduced a less than popular colour scheme below.  Rear cabins were made by both Mader & Jakab with Mader becoming the preferred design. It's lack of power soon saw it's replacement with the Mercedes 316 CDI Sprinter version.
